With Sean's birthday falling right between Christmas and New Year, it's always a little more tricky to celebrate, but we purposefully want to make it special for him. We had over our family, including my parents in town for this birthday! And a couple of friends over. We had a great time celebrating his 9 years with us.
He told me exactly how he wanted his cake decorated. Complete with a little garden in the front.
I grabbed these free printable food cards off pinterest just today. How's that for last minute?!
Square pretzel TNT...I know, I know...they aren't red....
Gold (cheese puffs)
We had BBQ sliders for dinner, so the Pig card was perfect, lol ;)
Slimeballs, aka peas
Cake...Cake
Redstone jello jigglers. I could have gone with strawberries, but that would have required another trip to the store.
Apples...they aren't golden, but I think Fuji are close enough!
Carrots as themselves
Diamonds....Ice
Sprite--potion of healing...or something like that. You'd have to ask the kids what it does in the game...Minecraft Bingo...also last minute...also really fun!
My pathetic attempt at chalk drawing in Minecraft font...
Happy Birthday banner
Pure shock and awe
He was so surprised he got the Millenium Falcon Lego set from Nana and Papaw
I'm 99.9% sure he'll have it finished tomorrow...
Luke also had a few gifts since we couldn't celebrate his family with the whole family earlier in the month.
I loved him smiling as he read each card.
Jack was crying for presents too (Christmas withdrawal?) So he helped Luke open his gifts.
Grandpa wrapped this one with lots of tape!
He toppled off this about 2 seconds after this picture.
Brotherly love
Youngest and oldest both with December birthdays <3 p="">
