Apple Picking 2012

We went apple picking almost a month ago now, and I'm just getting to posting pictures!  We usually go to the mountains, but since we had to be back home early in the afternoon for an evening out to see Tim Hawkins, we didn't want to have a longer trip.  So, we went to Windy Mill Orchard & Cider Mill in Black, SC instead.  I had gone with the kids there last year, and they enjoyed a great presentation of Johnny Appleseed, so we went again as a family this year.  Definitely missed Justus Orchard in Hendersonville, but we'll go back there next year.  The apples were a little disappointing because it was towards the end of the pick your own season for their variety of apples they use to make cider.  But, the kids still enjoyed the experience!
