Random Funnies

This has been quite a funny morning with my kiddos--so I have to write these things down before I forget them!

This morning while Brilee was taking her morning nap, I noticed her sound machine sounded louder than usual over the baby monitor.  I thought, "wow, I turned that up louder than usual" and thought nothing more of it because I knew Lilly or Sean hadn't gone into her room.  Well, when I went to wake her up from her nap (I have to cut it short these days so she'll still take an afternoon nap with S&L) the first thing I noticed was the sound machine was definitely VERY loud...and it wasn't on their bookshelf!  As I got closer I noticed the cord leading into her crib...and she was LAYING on top of it!  Somehow, little miss monkey arms reached over a foot through her crib, pulled the machine off the shelf and managed to get it turned the right way to fit through the slats and went to sleep on top of it with the volume turned up ALL the way!  I guess it needs to be moved over more on their bookshelf!

We went to the park this morning with a few friends, and Lilly said she needed to go potty.  So, the three of us trekked up to the bathrooms and when we got there Sean said, "I want to go into the BOYS' bathroom!"  I said, "No, you need to come in with mommy into the girls bathroom."  As we walked in he said, "But, BUT....it smells like GIRLS in here!"   That gave me a good chuckle...

Some other funny sayings...not from this morning, but I haven't written them down yet.

As I was cooking dinner one night Sean came in, breathed in deep through his nose and said, "Mmmmm, I can hardly smell it!"  Don't think he understands the proper use of "hardly" yet! :)

Lilly has gotten into a phase of using "she" and "her" incorrectly  Example:  "Look at baby...I patted she's arm."  and "Her took my doll!"   Ahh...plenty of time to teach grammar!

Brilee has also gotten to be quite a ham.  She always gets a good kick out of trying to horse around with Jon just like Sean and Lilly.  They run around the house in circles while he hides in different corners jumping out to tickle them.  She tries her hardest to run as fast as they can...she lags behind, but boy does she go as fast as her little legs will carry her!  I've got to try to get this on video soon.   She is also quite the little dancer and will bounce up and down on her little legs trying to dance...also another must-try-to-get-on video soon!

Alas, I have no pictures to go along with this post :(  My kids keep me so busy, I need to keep the camera out in plain sight so I don't forget!
