14 months!

Dearest Brilee Grace,
These months are just ticking away TOO fast!  You are a bundle of laughter and we are so blessed by your presence in our family!

Your smile is contagious, and though you often sound like a squawking bird, I know those sounds have meaning to you!  You're saying a few words (mama, dada, daaa (doll), uh-oh) and signing a few words (more, all done) but I know you will turn into a little chatterbox just like brother and sister!

You love to eat tons of food--including all types of meat--despite the fact that you STILL only have 2 bottom teeth!  You manage to gum everything pretty well (I do cut it up very small for you :) Those top two that are bulging below your gums (and have been since you were 6 months!) are just being stubborn!  In fact, at your 6 month check-up the doctor said, "Oh, those will be in by next week, I bet!"  HAHA!  Now, 8 months later they are still bulging, go figure!

You want to do EVERYTHING that Sean and Lilly are doing.  I'm going to have to gate you into a separate play area while they are doing schoolwork since today you grabbed pencils and crayons out of both their hands!  (And swiped their papers off their desks)  You will have your chance at school all too soon, I promise!

You do love to rock in the glider in your "designated play area", but that just doesn't last long enough before you're ready to move on!

You are very curious and LOVE being outside.  You especially love water--at bath time and while we're watering the garden.  You love sticking your little hands inside the watering can while it's being filled at the rain barrel.

You have the most beautiful blue eyes--you get them from your daddy!

You love walking around in EVERYBODY'S shoes and take the opportunity to swipe a visitor's shoes as soon as they take them off at the door!  You actually do a really good job at walking around in Lilly's princess slippers, which is a pretty difficult task on the wood floor!

I can't wait to see how you continue to grow and learn new things!  We love you our precious Brilee Grace!

Big sister wanted her picture in "mommy's message!"

You two play SO well together and I am thankful for God's sovereignty to give us 2 girls together back to back.  He knows the things we don't understand, and for that I am grateful (though I still would love for Sean to have a brother at some point in the future--to enjoy the messy, dirty fun with you--but that I know will be HIS decision!)
