Brilee's hair has gotten SO long, that it completely hangs in her face without a hair clip or band. Which wouldn't be a problem, except that she practically refuses to keep them in her hair anymore. I thought she was doing so much better than Lilly at this (Lilly always pulled them out even when she was tiny) but alas, Brilee now thinks its cool to have the Cousin It look....I can't help but push it back behind her ears about 100 times a day when she won't keep the clips in!
A rare shot of me in photos (not that I mind not being in them--I prefer pics with of kids instead!) But I love the one below of me and Brilee after we celebrated my 32nd birthday with pizza and movie night.
Have I mentioned Brilee's affinity for all things "out of reach?" She spends most of her time trying to pull things off counters, tables, dressers, desks--basically anything she's not supposed to have. AND, since she has unusually long arms (like me) she can typically reach things a few feet from the edge of these locations.
If you walked into our house at any given moment, she'd look something like this:
She is certainly a curious little girl, and I don't think it's going to end anytime soon! She's definitely full-force toddler mode and wants to keep up with Sean & Lilly. I find myself thinking someone is missing when they're all playing, because there is no baby around anymore! I can literally see all three of them playing, and catch myself thinking, "who's missing?" I said that out loud one day and Sean answered, "Daddy, silly!" Yes. I love my family!
