Jasper Hardison came from England, Yorkshire Co. and settled in Maine near
Kittnery.
Married Mary Carkett, who was his neighbor's daughter. Mr. Carkett had a ship,
also he was a boat builder and he sailed from Maine to North Carolina trading
goods and produce.
Jasper Hardison bought 100 acres of land in NC. Rose Plantation

Jasper Hardison
Born, at an unknown date and place, as of Oct. 1994. Thought to have come from
Maine on ship sailing from England and settled around Hog Island, Kittnery,
Maine with other Hardisons. Moved his family to eastern NC about 1720. His last
will and testament was probrated in Bertie Co. NC on 22 Nov. 1733
