Valentine's Fun

I know Valentine's Day isn't until next week, but I found a ton of fun Valentine activities for the kids, so we've been having lots of fun the past couple of days.

My favorite activity I don't have in here because I haven't played it with the kids yet!  It is a 1 Cor. 13 file folder game.  I found it off of a blog last year, but didn't take the time to laminate it, so I made sure to do it for this year!  The Bible verses are on the front to read, then you move your game piece around the board as you roll a dice, and you have to pick up a heart card...either asking you to name what Love is and what Love isn't...I think it's the perfect Bible activity for Valentine's Day!  Will add pics from that next week.  However, here is what we HAVE done so far...

Letter V story search.  And, of course, I've done letter V tracing/writing sheets as well.

Counting with candy hearts

Patterns

This was a cute one I got off Confessions of a Homeschooler-  laminated cards and used velcro pieces to make a number matching book

Yes, Sean is doing schoolwork as Spiderman...

Brilee always tries her hardest to get to the candy hearts...

Folding heart mobiles...my pictures are coming out sideways for some reason...oops

More counting pictures..

Not so great angle of our hanging heart mobiles...

These obviously got out of order during my upload...too lazy to fix them

Better angle of our mobiles...

Sideways again...and I had to do most of the work on these hearts, but they turned out so cute!

Lilly making Valentine's for her friends in Sunday school  (I dotted their names so she could simply trace them...she does not write this well yet!  Her name on each one is by herself, though.  I forgot to take a pic of Sean making his, but they are so cute he drew himself with his friend on each one and they all have VERY long fingers and toes, LOL!)
