We had planned a little Valentine's Party with some of our friends from church last week, but due to illness with many of the kids, it was cancelled in hopes of holding it today. Well, some were still sick, so it was cancelled completely. The kids were SO disappointed, so we had our own little Valentine's Tea Party today for lunch. We got out the kids little tea set and washed them well! I made heart-shaped English muffin PB&Js and pink lemonade. Of course, we had some of the leftover whoopie pies for desert! They had so much fun! I must say, I was disappointed in the little conversation hearts I got them as a surprise gift. Too many of them now have sayings written on them with improper grammar and/or things I wouldn't want my kids saying! So, since they can't read I made up things for those hearts!
